Although the system worked it was quite stiff on moving from lock to lock.Both track rod ends were well worn & there was a good deal of play in this end of teh system It was clear to me that it had never been maintained at all & the colour & consistency of the fluid confirmed that fact |
![]() ![]() The interconnecting adjustable steering rod was mangled beyond belief. Someone had attacked it with a pair of vise grips to adjust & mangled it really badly. I have said before on this site the worst assumption a Ferrari enthusiast can make. That a mechanic working on an old Ferrari has a consequent love for the marque is often a mistake |
